I spent several weeks shopping online for a coatrack and was surprised to find that even the cheapest 'modern' or 'contemporary' looking stands cost around $100. Many of comparable price were not nearly so attractive or interesting looking, and most were either well beyond my price range or available only in Europe. Thus I settled on the Phoenix coatrack. My new coatrack arrived very quickly, in perfect condition, within five business days of when I placed the order. Bravo, Fashion for Home! Great service.

The coatrack itself required minimal assembly, which I was able to complete alone. The instructions were not incredibly clear, but I quickly found that the three identical pieces would only fit together one way! I needed only a phillips screwdriver and 6 of the 9 screws provided with the package. I had it unpacked, assembled, and the packaging cleaned up within about 20 minutes. Very easy. Because it is black metal, the Phoenix coatrack stands out against my white walls, but it looks much more like an interesting stick sculpture than it does a traditional overly ornate coat stand. Who knew that a coatrack could be an attractive item of furniture?! Visitors to the house have admired its design; I'm happy that I finally have a place to put their winter coats and my own belongings when I come inside from the rain or snow.

I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.
