Delivery Times
We want to offer designer furniture at the best value - that's why we make our furniture to order. Our usual made to order time is 8 and 14 weeks but, depending on the time of your order, we might be able to deliver your order much earlier.
The production of your furniture can take from 15-45 days from production planning to quality control. To save costs, we ship your order bundled together with other customer’s orders to our warehouse, which can take another 15-45 days. The availability of your item is indicated on the product pages and will also be confirmed by email - please also note that our delivery partner needs around 6-10 working days to prepare and send you item, depending on the size of the item and delivery slot availability. Please note that you can check your order status by login into your account.
Smaller packages (including bean bags) will be dispatched by parcel service. For larger pieces of furniture such as beds, sofas, etc., you will be contacted by our delivery partner prior to delivery to arrange a convenient time.
Explanation of Delivery Statuses
We will keep you updated via email regarding the progress and expected dispatch date of your order. The following statuses are used to explain the process from production to delivery:
Payment pending - We have received your order but have not yet received payment. You usually will receive an email with a link so the payment can be finalised.
In Production - We have started the production of your item. The production phase generally lasts three to six weeks.
In Transit - Your item is now on its way from our manufacturing facilities to our UK distribution centre in London. Our items are shipped by sea from Europe and Asia. The transit, including the clearance and customs formalities usually takes four to six weeks.
Upon arrival in our distribution centre, we will immediately dispatch your items and will inform you of the expected delivery date.
In stock - Your item is in our London distribution centre and will be dispatched shortly. We will be in contact with you at this time to provide the delivery details and an expected delivery date.
Filling - The bean bag you ordered is now being filled. This can take up to 5 working days.
Pre-shipment - We have instructed our logistics partner to ship your item. Dispatch will take place within the next few days. We or our logistics provider will contact you to provide the delivery details and the expected delivery date.
Shipped - Our logistics partner has indicated that your item is being delivered. At this point the item is likely to be either on route to the regional depot or to you.
Delivered - Our logistics partner has indicated to us that your item has been successfully delivered.
If the stated delivery time is exceeded, we will contact you. If it is not possible for us to deliver your order in time, you have the right to cancel your order. For details please see our

Delivery costs & options
Delivery costs to non-highland or non-island postcodes are 100% free, 100% of the time. At FASHION FOR HOME, we want to make the price you pay to be as simple and transparent as possible. Small delivery surcharges may apply to some Scotland, Northern Ireland and Island postcodes. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service team.
Items which are too large to be sent via parcel will be handled by a two man delivery team who will contact you before the item is sent to provide you with a delivery appointment. Our standard delivery includes the delivery to your ground floor. Unfortunately, standard delivery does not include carrying up flights of stairs or product assembly. Please inspect the goods before signing the proof of delivery. If you notice any damage to the packaging please note such damage on the proof of delivery form or refuse if the packaging is badly damaged. If you don’t note potential transport damage you waive you rights to be reimbursed by the freight forwarder. For questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team.
For an additional charge, we can provide you with a White Glove service. With our White Glove service, our delivery partners will carry your merchandise up one flight of stairs into a room of your choice, remove the packaging and will assemble your piece. Because we carry a large product range, we ask that you contact our Customer Service Team for more detailed information on White Glove pricing and restrictions.
